Thank you! And very smart. I put these decals on my NS-2JA-R for a while. I asked him to send me 2 decals for the 12th fret (and the guy that sells these decals on Ebay is really nice and had no problem throwing an extra one in the set) and I just cut them a little offset from the center to add them together and make them wider to cover the very small neck markets that the NS-2JA-R has.

Another idea is to buy two sets... one in abalone or black pearl... the other in standard MOP. And then cut the 12th fret to add the opposite inlay stripes that the originals come with. If you space the cutting the right way you end up with an inlay that looks authentic and is wide enough to cover the dual dots at that fret.

Good for you! I mean that's one really rare, very special NS-4 and the neck is so thin and perfect. If I hadn't already owned a WCR NS-4 and not recently purchased an NS-2 from BC... I would have wanted to take that one home! LOL.

It's really a great find! So when are you going to tease us with some photos of that puppy!!! :D

Wow, I get back from a nice jazz brunch gig and find another edition of the club!
Well, I got no plans for the rest of the day, so I think I'm gonna put those New strings on the legend and try an get her set up!

You know, I didn't even notice that but you are right. It looks like it's almost bigger than she is :) You see a ton of posts here on TB about how people just cannot play 35" scale basses but between that picture of Christy and the video Patrick made of Nikki with her 35" scale Euro, I think anyone can play them.

Sure, it might take some adjustment period for your hands to get used to the different scale but what I am saying is I doubt Christy or Nikki are 6'3" like me and have huge hands.
