[/QUOTE]Here is the place to get the inlays.
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
Regarding a Tonepump, it will give you lots of growl.
The least expensive upgrade for you is to look out for someone selling a used Tonepump on Talkbass.
thanks for helping a noob like me. Ah, okWhen you can share more, let us know since we always love to hear about new Spector's.
JPS, what color is this bass that you posted? I have to say, I really like it a lot.

man i love this color! unique!![]()
JPS - that was cold.Teasing like that is wrong on so many levels (but in all the right ways). Every time I think I've tamped down the desire for a new Spector, a new thread opens and it all begins again.

It's called Plum
Was a special order. I don't think many have been made in this color.
That's a Garry Tallent Signature Model. Also called a Shorty. It's a short-scale Spector.
Black stain spalt-maple.![]()
I know... how do you think I feel? These beautiful basses come to me and I get to take their picture and then play them (some of them) and then I have to send them back.![]()
And you'd think having a room full of these basses at times would quench my SAS thirst. Nope. It just makes it worse.
The good thing is that I know what I like now. No need to try and get anything other than the stuff I love. So that pretty much leaves me looking at NS-2 and NS-4 models.
the plum looks cool...hmmmm, I may have to do something with that.....
