not the best angle to see the Rex5... but here's a little home set up :bassist:

Nice to see the silverburst again. Haven't seen that one in a while and I forgot how great it looks.

I'm not a slapper either...just don't care for the tone, it's judt not for me. I have very large hands (I can easily palm a basketball lol) so the large necks are very comfortable for me. Can't wait for my Forte 5! Fivers from here on out for me! I'm contemplating whether I want to covert my Forte 4 to BEAD tuning...I just converted it to 18V last weekend and at my Wed. band practice I had to use half the volume bc it's so hot! Haha! Thanx to LimaGuy, seventhframe, jaymi and everyone else that did the mod that influenced me!:D:bassist:[/QUOTE]

sweet. good deal. yeah i dont know. i like the ring and growl i get from down there! ;) hehehe!

JPS - that was cold. ;) Teasing like that is wrong on so many levels (but in all the right ways). Every time I think I've tamped down the desire for a new Spector, a new thread opens and it all begins again. :D

I know... how do you think I feel? These beautiful basses come to me and I get to take their picture and then play them (some of them) and then I have to send them back. :(

And you'd think having a room full of these basses at times would quench my SAS thirst. Nope. It just makes it worse.

The good thing is that I know what I like now. No need to try and get anything other than the stuff I love. So that pretty much leaves me looking at NS-2 and NS-4 models.

It's called Plum

Was a special order. I don't think many have been made in this color.

jps
i was telling a story to icebox earlier that back in 97 when i was trying to order my first spector from bass central, beaver felton thought this was called the paduak stain. lol. we both found out other wise because this was the bass i initially wanted. i didnt have enough $ for that one at the time. but i got a good ns-95 out of the deal in paduak stain.

At least no one's suggesting that there should be a 12-step program for this. That would be.....well.....positively blasphemous.
