SPECTOR® Club - Part 36

Beautiful. And even more rare now.

The Piezo bridges made for Spector by Fishman are now gone. There's no more left. So now that they are gone, there are going to be no more NS-4-P, NS-5XL-P and/or NS-6XL-P models made.

So you've got a rare bass. I'm actually very disappointed because I had thought I'd have Stuart build me an NS-4 like yours (I would do an unlined fretless) and I would have wanted the Piezo.

I was disappointed a few weeks ago to learn that these bridges and circuits were all gone and Stuart didn't have any plans to order more.

I wasn't aware that the Piezo bridges by Fishman were discontinued. Thanks for letting me know! The factory maple lines are very unassuming and some of them have darkened a little over time.

This particular bass was previously owned by a collector that rarely played it. Unfortunately I probably will need to sell mine to help raise money for some of my daughter's college expenses that weren't covered by some additional scholarships she was expecting. Sigh... :(

Anyone interested in owning "big red" rex5 send me a message , looking for either outright sale , ns2a plus cash , or beat up euro4 plus cash . Maybe straight trade for something cool in the 4 string family .

Don't worry. I bought my first Spector blind without ever playing one before in my life and fell in love instantly. It was my blue 2010 Euro 5LX that I still love and have bought 3 more Spectors afterwards. That is the one thing, they get addicting so be prepared :-)

I have never tried a six string though so I can't really comment on the neck of those. All of mine are 5 strings and I just love the necks on them.

Anyone interested in a Green Zebra ReBop 4DLX-EX? Message me, Just passing the word for someone who contacted me and maybe looking to sell.

I think I know that bass. Don't I? She's pretty near in color to grendle's, but not the same feel. I've played that bass in her home environment. Sweet little girl and well cared for.

You'll hate it....trade it to me:ninja:

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain(wizard of oz reference.) You will love your new Euro 6 and will rave about it, I can see it now. If you have any questions, feel free to ask since there is always someone here that can help

If that bass had 1 more string on it, I would have the credit card out already. I love that color and you rarely see the green rebop's around.

Me to. I bought my Euro5LX from Bass Central never having even picked one up. I totally love it.

No worries! :ninja: I haven't been disappointed with any Spector bass guitar yet and most likely won't! And I've bought all 9 of mine blind without playing one, even my first one. I don't have any good guitar stores close to me. Just a couple mom/pop stores.
Euro Spector bass will blow your socks off! :bassist:

Echoing what everyone else has said. I traded for a Euro 4 blind and bought my Forte sight-unseen as well. Believe me, I get it that blind-buys can be a bit unnerving. I couldn't have been happier.

You're in good hands. The community here is fantastic and fanatical (in a good way). And get used to the play - love - feeling increasing bouts of SAS - acquisition cycle that was described a few pages back. That's the spot-on truth. It says something about the quality of the brand when you start looking to sell everything that isn't bolted down to fund another Spector purchase... :D
