I've noticed if you dig in more while playing, the EMG response is better.
Beautiful. And even more rare now.
The Piezo bridges made for Spector by Fishman are now gone. There's no more left. So now that they are gone, there are going to be no more NS-4-P, NS-5XL-P and/or NS-6XL-P models made.
So you've got a rare bass. I'm actually very disappointed because I had thought I'd have Stuart build me an NS-4 like yours (I would do an unlined fretless) and I would have wanted the Piezo.
I was disappointed a few weeks ago to learn that these bridges and circuits were all gone and Stuart didn't have any plans to order more.
Jar back up....I'm desperate and need 5 or 6! Someone haz to want one of these rare beasts!

i have to wait a week or so for my new toy to arrive-spector euro 6lx
since i have never seen nor played one before, who can comfort me in my blind faith purchase? i have heard great things about them...
hey-this thread moves awfully fast; that must be a good thing

Anyone interested in a Green Zebra ReBop 4DLX-EX? Message me, Just passing the word for someone who contacted me and maybe looking to sell.
You'll hate it....trade it to me![]()
I think I know that bass. Don't I? She's pretty near in color to grendle's, but not the same feel. I've played that bass in her home environment. Sweet little girl and well cared for.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain(wizard of oz reference.)

I think I have hit the comfort zone, I can dig in now with the buzz or killing a slapped note. My Cirrus has become my number bass for worship service. The more I play this bass, I really wonder my more folks who like the Cirrus/Ken Smith thing aren't into Spectors more. They really work well in an Urban Gospel/R&B situation.
Don't worry. I bought my first Spector blind without ever playing one before in my life and fell in love instantly. It was my blue 2010 Euro 5LX that I still love and have bought 3 more Spectors afterwards. That is the one thing, they get addicting so be prepared![]()
I have never tried a six string though so I can't really comment on the neck of those. All of mine are 5 strings and I just love the necks on them.

I haven't been disappointed with any Spector bass guitar yet and most likely won't! And I've bought all 9 of mine blind without playing one, even my first one. I don't have any good guitar stores close to me. Just a couple mom/pop stores.
