But it sounds very growly and impressive in the clip Wilson posted.

The same person who made the Czech Haz eventually started making the Tonepump.

I would think about the same as the Korean Haz copy vs. Tonepump.

Yeah I will probably do something in the near future. I really would like to find one that is the 9-9.5 lbs.

Not really lol.

I think the Haz and Haz copies are a little thicker sounding with lots' of growl. I feel like the Tonepump has the growl but is slightly more hifi sounding.

They are out there. I believe Icebox's Forte is just a bit heavier than 9.5, but they are rare from what I've seen.

I'm also leaning towards a used Euro 5 to trick out or grabbin' an all black Alex Webster since it has the thinner neck!

The Korean copy doesn't hold a candle to the Czech copy in all honesty. Also doesn't compare to the tp. The only thing it sounds close to is the original haz lab....at least mine does.

I am not a pre expert like Limaguy but what is the Czech copy? I am familiar with the Korean Haz copy and the MM114 but I am not familiar with one made in the Czech Republic. Does anyone have any links to more information about this by chance?

PJ told me that when they first started making the Czech basses they used a Czech copy of the Haz circuit. Very quickly I guess they moved on to the EMG BT circuit so there are only a few with Czech circuits. I emailed him when I saw one on ebay...

Yep the checz haz copy is the rarest of all Spector preamps . The ssd euro I had was an early one , no serial number , and it had the EMG bt .

Yeah, there were only a handful (literally) with the Czech haz and those were the first ones built. Hence why mine is probably the earliest euros on the board
