Is there a worse (or better) feeling knowing that a Spector is on it's way to you? It's awesome that it's on the way.
But man the waiting is killing me...........

A group shot of My 4 string Spector Basses & Guitar with John's 5 string Spectors.

Some photos with Patrick during his visit to the Lima Pad yesterday.

A Photo of my Euro4LX in the middle of the
NS-1 Prototype (circa 1977) and NS-1 Mock-up (circa 1977) that Ned Steinberger made made from a defective SB-1 to show his idea of the curved NS body.
Imagine a mistake turned into one of the most amazing bass designs in history.

My Euro4LX was taken back from the Woodstock shop where it had 2 frets slightly filed down
and was taken back to PJ's where Patrick took this photo.
It was delivered back to me yesterday.
Now being "almost famous"![]()

better put up the other 3 for sale lima! then you'll have #2!
Man I wish I could. The Forte isn't going anyplace and the Euro4LX and Fretless NS-2A is not going to get me even close to what I need $ for that.
but im saving for an amp next year and we're moving to another town to top it off. different jobs, etc. so i'll squeezing blood out of pennies for a while.
I've got a EuroLX 4 in black cherry with a flame top that is new from Amazon. The only thing I did besides get a pro set up on it and put Sadoswky black label steels on it is put EMG PJX pickups in it and an EMG BTS circuit wired to 18volts (not the smadder setup, but I wanted to try something for everyone out there who is going for that 18v push). I'd like to get rid of it for $1100 plus $40 for shipping (but we can talk and I may be able to work with you on price). I'll be posting pics to the site later today. If you're interested, PM me. I can't officially sell it as new, but it is (I sold similar basses to ynot12 and WilsonMusic): I got paid in barter by this guy I did computer work for and he paid me with this Spector off of Amazon, and it simply has not been used or registered, just upgraded and set up. Comes with a new Spector gig bag too.
i hear you. i'd love to have a slew of basses i dream of.but im saving for an amp next year and we're moving to another town to top it off. different jobs, etc. so i'll squeezing blood out of pennies for a while.

wish I was able to bid on it....Who am I bidding against for the "no reserve" Forte X on eBay?
Well Donny you were right. I installed the ProSteels on Big Earl and they do indeed '"cut like a mutha". Grindy as all get out.
If they give me half this grind when they settle I'm pretty sure I'll be happy. For the first time ever I actually had to back the treble knob out of the center detent of the Haz. Impressive so far. Thanks man.

Oh the wait is brutal.![]()
Especially when you have shipping OCD like me and I keep looking at the tracking info over 50 times a day.
When are you expecting it?![]()

Love em! I have ProSteels on 8 out of 10 of my basses - they don't make them for my Hamer 12-string, and because of the brittle sounding pre, nickles sound better on the late model Stingray.
Glad you tried them, and you will love the way they sound in a live mix on a Spector with EMG DCs.![]()
I thought I remember seeing posts suggesting the Spector brand strings are either made by D'Addario or similar to them - can anyone comment on that?
