Great. Thanks dude, that's exactly what I need. ANOTHER F****** PEDAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p :D

I have been bitten by the dark glass bug thanks to Lee also.....fortunately I have a HBE Hematoma to help me get by a little longer......gotta get my ns2a first by August........or maybe Lee with sell me his? Yeah, that's right.....I need another instrument like a hole in my head......thanks Lee.....lol

Here's another track for you guys using a bassline I think we all know. One of these basses is my NS 2 (with ProSteels) and the other is the Forte (Cobalts). Which is which and which tone do you like better. I'll post the answer later tonight.

The first one is much louder so I prefer that one obviously :) Ok, call me crazy but I am drawing a blank on that bass line. Can someone give me a slap and tell me what song it is?

Hint: It's by one of the greatest bass players of all time and he pretty much played a J all through the 70's and 80's...

I guess it's Jaco? I am not too familiar with his stuff if it's him but 70's and 80's might be tough for me to get. During the 80's I was all about Metal....and still am really but I am broadening my horizons.

I found a dealer in NJ that sells that Darkglass pedal so now it's time to start saving :)

259 American by the three leaf guy and available end of July. Waiting list...I've been looking....darn you Lee

My friend with the natural 2002 rebop five with the newly installed American brass bridge wants to go back to a four string. He is looking to trade or trade plus or minus cash for a four string euro or ns2a. Upgraded are the bridge and he has a newer tone pump with trim he could include. Let me know if interested. It's the same bass John has with the bridge upgraded. I am getting pictures. Message me if interested

I got my M-Audio/Pro Tools interface in yesterday (thanks for passing that deal on smadder) and was trying to get it figured out. A couple of guys were wondering about the Darkglass B3K so I attempted to make a serious bush-league recording.

Here is my NS 2 into the B3K. The drive on the B3K is wide open so this is as much saturation as you'll get. I do, however, have the blend at 50% so your getting 1/2 clean, 1/2 dirt. I didn't adjust the master volume on mixdown so the volume is low...best with headphones.

Lee,

Dude, why did you have to go and do that to me? Now I hanker for one. I hanker bad.

Glad that deal worked out though. I wish I could have taken advantage of it - $99 for the interface alone is an awesome deal, throwing in Pro Tools is just awesome icing.

How many more times....... :D

Anyways, I'm a big pedal guy so I love seeing all these pedalboards. Most of what I use mine for in my cover band is a distortion with a fuzz pedal to do synth sounds, and a MicroPOG (Octave up+Dry bass signal+Octave down) with a rotary speaker emulator through a tube overdrive for BIG FAT organ tone, which I've shaped to be a mix between Wolfmother's Joker and the Thief and Deep Purple's Child in Time rock organ tones. I have a ton of other pedals but my pedalboard isn't big enough to hold them all, and I refuse to pay hundreds of dollars to buy one, so I either choose 5 or 6 at a time to use with a band on my board, or just use them all hooked up at home :D

Also! I've never seen a "harmonist" pedal, what does it do?
