I know what you mean about not able to put it down! Every day when I came home from I'd pick up my former Forte 5 and easily play 2-3 hours non-stop. :bassist: I find that with every Spector though. They are just so much joy to play!

Yes they will be around but the definition of the notes are not clear like other amps, Genz, Aguilar, Thunderfunk,..etc. But if you make mistakes they can be your best friend for they hide your inequities as others will unmask them. My guitarist who I think has the best ears I know said with the 800rb it was hard to distinguish between an A and B note but when I got the amp after the 800rb which I think was the db750 he said if I was off a half step (A to B flat for instance) it pounded him in the face with discuss....:bassist:

Congrats Lee, you will not be disappointed!
The NS-4 moves air like no other Spector, and is an exceptional bass for playing live & loud. Any & all doubts will be laid to rest he first time you hear it at rehearsal with some serious volume behind it.
