They had Dunlops on mine, Todd told them to swap it out for Schallers. :bassist::bassist::bassist:

Sorry, but after 25 years of dealing with Spector, this is not the reason they (or many other companies), make changes.....
And the discussions both here and other threads on TB show by a wide margin Dunlops are not the "popular" choice.

on that note, I am back to 100% schallers... Patrick said something about a throwback to the old school Spectors.... it doesn't matter really....:eyebrow:

Schecter, Fender, Dingwall, Lakland, Squier. What you don't see are the other Schecter electric, the Dean AEB, and the Ibanez acoustic guitar. And...I just pulled the trigger on another. But it'll be a while before she's in my hands.

I've been practicing a lot of slapping lately. Particularly raking and ended up with this funk groove that I decided to record.

I think this greatly demonstrates the awesomeness of the Spector NS-2 tonal range. I play hard when I pick with my fingers and it shows, I also slap somewhat hard (I guess that's the point) and the pure growl just blows my mind every time. I often find myself enjoying the tone so much I lose focus on what I'm playing :D

This was very difficult for me to record....many, many, many, many takes. Not used to slapping and recording it. :bassist: :hiding:
