Interesting. That's only one digit off of my old Euro4 (NB2525), so yeah, born with solid wings during the late '02 to early '03 timeframe.

Beautiful. That's one thing about Spectors' finishes, I don't think I've seen a bad one yet.

I do wish we'd get back to some of those crazy paint jobs from the 80's. Tiger finishes, bright fluorescent, the whole thing. I might be grinding thrash metal, but i'm gonna stand out!

Jamie, I agree that both basses have their place. The red custom is my favorite of yours. It has a unique tone all to its self, yet very verstile.

Yes I am feeling the pressure of the plum for sure.

Thanks B. I took a bit of a leap of faith, but not too big a leap. I can almost hear what it's going to sound like. Great thing too is that there are a ton of different pickups that will fit in that cavity.

No, you are absolutely right. Its going to be released in blue. Mine is a special order, and as such, I believe the wait is 4 to 5 months.

Thanks, as soon as the press release came out on this, I wanted one. A lightweight bolt on with a maple board and a MM pickup! I know that I am Pre judging, and I will strive to keep an open mind, but I have never met an HZ pickup that I liked. The TP might make it awesome, we'll have to see

Oh absolutely. Sam mentioned that there are going to be clips available after Bass Player Live! I am looking forward to these as well. Also making my own will be fun too.

Tempted to switch my 2 Euros by putting the gold on the sunburst refin (above, right) and black on my natural 435lx. What do you guys think?

My personal opinion NOLA is to leave the burst and natural ones they way they are. I think the black goes better with the darker accents in the burst, and the gold gives the natural a little more color.

And while we're talking about hardware color, what do you guys think about gold hardware on a Webster? Would the gold and red clash?

I feel like we're all playing dress up with our dollies.

Black on the natural for the Win! But the sunburst would look wicked with chrome hardware I also have to give you a big shout out. Trace posted the member list the other day and you are a single digit member that still posts on a regular basis. Too awesome! I want to say thanks for sharing your valuable knowledge with us less experienced members in the wonderful world of Spectors.

I probably don't own any of the Spectors I owned when I joined the club!!!! It's a great club to be a part of, but sometimes hard to keep up with! If you are away for a day, you end up pages behind!!!!

Just picked up my first Spector bass. Its a 2003 Euro 4...I finally get it...this is what I've been missing all these years!
