I think I remember reading somewhere (i think it was one of the reviews for Dan's books if I am not mistaken) that most of the tab sites for their music is wrong. I will have to try some out though and see if they are close but will start off with the slow parts....if there are any, LOL.

Yeah, I had a Sansamp RBI but I just recently sold it. It really is a great product but I was just not using it at all since I am just playing along to songs in my office so it was way overkill for me. I am just going to pickup a B3K for now and use that and if I ever do get more serious and play out a bit, then I can start getting some better gear.

Dan Briggs is just amazing on bass, no matter what he's doing; here's a vid from his project Trioscapes, which is very much avant-garde jazz (reminds me of Naked City / John Zorn, Mr. Bungle, etc.):



That Sunn amp he is using really kicks out some dirt! The bass solo at 3:30 made my head explode. He gets some great overdrive going at 2:00 in as well. So cool!
I'm not a "Spector Identifier"; is that an NS-5 he's playing? Looks like it...

I have a BTBAM jersey tank, made to look very much like a Carolina Panthers jersey. I wore it to their first game of the season, and no one said a word to me until I was leaving the stadium. This kid came running up to me, freaking out, yelling, "BTBAM...BTBAM!!!!". He hugged me before he left; I made his day!

Yeah, those guys are amazing also. They played around here not too long ago but I wasn't able to make it unfortunately and was bummed I couldn't see them. That is a great story about the jersey tank :)

Definitely has the Bunglesque vibe to it. Dig it! It's funny, I just read a review of the new BTBAM record and the reviewer gave mega props to Mr. Bungle for spawning bands over the years and that BTBAM is a perfect example of it. Bungle ruled. Miss those days. I saw them live several times in Cali back in 91. Some of the funnest shows I've ever been to.

The news shows that mostly people are dealing with power outages and there are some areas that got severe flooding.

I also home that Marshall and his loved ones are OK.

I spoke with Greg Felise a little earlier, he lives near Atlantic City in Jersey and you can see the bay from his front porch... he lost his deck, it floated away. But his house missed being flooded by just a couple of inches.

His father's house was severely damaged, it got a massive tree through the middle of it. Greg sent me a photo of his brother George (who worked for Spector and Kramer) on top of the tree... on top of the house... and it was massive.

The NY Workshop lost power. At last check in, they were still waiting but expected it on before tomorrow morning.

PJ and his family were fine, they never lost power, which he was pretty shocked by.

And there are many, many Spector Artists who are MIA. Jessica Pimentel, John Montagna, and many others. I'm trying to reach them as I can.

Probably the best video you 2 have made so far....The Pirate sounds pretty sexy on the video!!...if only he stops flipping his Spectors..hehe..:bassist::bassist::bassist:
