I put a obp3 in a Modulus, very nice! and I have a opb2 in a NS2a also very nice. I chose the obp2 for the spector because I wanted the classic 4 knob operation like the NS2s. The specs seem to be the same on the OBP2 and OBP3 (except for the mid control) on the aggie site.
Well if they are voiced about the same I'd really like to go the 4 non stacked knob approach of the OBP-2. I haven't been able to hear the two Aggies side by side to see if the lack of a high/low mid sweep is somehow compensated for by an increased range in the bass and treb pots. I'm not into the ultra aggressive bass tones that the nontrim tone pump has in my Euro. I'd really like to get something more in line with a P/J Fender active tone. I'm sure the Aggie will get me there but would prefer the 2 vs the 3 if it'll work.
