OK, explain to me the Superglue thing. You just put a coating over the slice? I'll try anything to get me back in the saddle so to speak.
The compound in super glue and the fact that it's relatively inert (meaning non-toxic) once it sets, which only takes a few seconds, was the inspiration for a product called Dermabond.
Superglue is cyanoacrylate. And YES. You can use it for shallow, MINOR cuts. But NEVER anything deep.
Dermabond is 2-octyl-cyanoacrylate - and works the same way. And is FDA approved.
Go to your local pharmacy and see if they have any Dermabond. It's also anti-bacterial.
