Wow, I've been away for a while. Been a busy year for me, but I'm back with my baby. Trying to get caught up.

Several members thought this was a cool bass, I knocked it down $100 today, I will take more off for any club member...........

I really wish I had the do ray mee for it.
Several of us have heard the bass and it does not dissapoint. That Spector 18v brings the pain! The flame is some of the nicest I seen on a matte Euro.
Thanks for all the feedback on the peavey tour 700 guys! Now I need to figure out how to buy one, lol.
Jamie, that bass.... o that bass.. I love it.

NBD today...can't wait. Pics to follow....![]()
I've never paid list or even near it for a custom build order and I've had 3 built.I have a question for anyone who has ever ordered a Spector through a dealer.Would the final cost of the bass be about the same as the list cost.I might order one and have been in contact with Spector to make sure all the options i wanted were doable and to get a ballpark figure. All the options are ok but if it is gonna be close to the list price, it very well could be out of my price range.Just curious to know how much if any difference there is between list and actual cost.Would it vary between dealers? Thanks for any info.
Gorgeous Euro 5Wow, I've been away for a while. Been a busy year for me, but I'm back with my baby. Trying to get caught up.

I have been distracted by vintage Fenders and eating crow about strings lately but I was able to steal away some time this weekend to spend with my NS 2000/4 and as soon as the dust settles I will be looking for a second Spector to add to my collection. I need a 5 string I can tuen down to Eb for on of my gigs. I love the Korean neck through but I would love to learn about other Spectors to keep my eye open for in this same price range.... any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Hey Spector Club! Recent follower, first time posting. Been excited playing shows with my cool upgraded NS2000/4 recently and man I couldn't any happier. Quick question, (sorta) well this bass has gone through a few stages of upgrades and it is finally in its finished state with a EMG 35P&J set and a recently installed a MM114, anyways I was curious though if any of you have ever installed a trimmer pot to the output of a NON trim tonepump? Wanting to do this to my backup which I have installed a TP and noticing a change in tone when I do; read somewhere adding a small cap to the output of a preamp may help, just wondering if anyone has done anything like this to the their older nontrim TP..
I'me watching one on the bay right now... I'm not in a big rushThat is a cool Euro, Zitch has a cool one for sale also....great basses on the market that's for sure!
I think I seen a 700 on ebay but it might have ended, unless your saying you need to play a few more high paying gigs first??? lol
Welcome, I'm in Phoenix also (more specifically Mesa) You in a band locally? I agree with Grendle, pick up a tonepump with trim pot and call it a day.Hey Spector Club! O RLY?

In with my svelte, new-to-me rebop4 EX. She's in remarkably good shape with only minor pre-disastering. You never know what you're going to get with eBay. Currently strung up BEAD, which I may or may not keep. Some work needs to be done on the nut, regardless. I'll give a full report later with some better pics.![]()

NICE! The black hardware looks great on there.
So does the bridge look like space was widened for the B winding?
BTW I have something coming today (not a bass), but something I've thought about trying for a while. Will post pics when it's in my hands. I am notoriously superstitious which is why I don't say "out for delivery" before I post pics.![]()
is it a Moog?
It is not. I'm hoping it lives up to the hype.
