Thanks! I have developed a habit of waiting until I see Spectors that really jump out at me. Like swampy. When she first appeared on eBay, I knew that we'd eventually connect, just not at the $2k asking price. So I waited and waited and waited.

In with my svelte, new-to-me rebop4 EX. She's in remarkably good shape with only minor pre-disastering. You never know what you're going to get with eBay. Currently strung up BEAD, which I may or may not keep. Some work needs to be done on the nut, regardless. I'll give a full report later with some better pics.

I've been using the U5 in conjunction with an RBI for a little while, but I'm looking for something that gives me the sound I want on recordings through just one piece of gear if possible. So I'm hoping B3K -> REDDI is going to do it. Too man great things being said about it to not try it.

No, that was where swampy started out on ebay. They went through several cycles with no bids before the girl finally opened it up to offers. Then I swooped it. Virtually. Because literally would have been kind of weird, me being in her house and all...
