Just returned to the world of 15" Speakers.

Purchased a Carvin PS15-4 400W 15" 4ohm Speaker (made by Celestion)
and installed it in an old 15" cab I had hid in my garage since I was 14.

Here is my famous riff which today my wife named "Razzmatazz" :p

Recorded with my TC Electronic BH-250 no Toneprint or compression.
Recorded with a SM57 into Pro Tools. No after EQ or Compression.

All basses have Spector Formula 603 strings on them.

Order
1-NS-2 800 9V USA Circuit. Everything at center detent
2-NS-2 630 9V USA Circuit. Everything at center detent
3-NS4CRFM 9V Czech Circuit. Everything at center detent
4-Euro4LX TonePump Trim @30%, Bass 30% , Treble 50%

I have 2 of them and they are vol/vol

I have a question for you guys too... I'm having an issue with my SVT 810 Heritage. When I plug in my GK 1001rb and play the output is low, the speakers sound like they are farting out (technical term). when I switch the speakon to my svt 810e classic it sounds great, more volume, better tone. This is a new development as I have prefered the heritage over the classic since I got it, please help... or point me in the right direction.. thanks!

and also I'm in!

Sounds like either a bad connection at the cab or your hurt a speaker.

Cool comparisons Sam, I go for 2,1,3,4

Just realized my humble performer is something of an oddity.

I was doing a little research, and I found out that the original line of Indonesian performers had one piece maple necks with fender style bridges. The new ones have 5 piece necks, and a higher mass bridge on them.

My bass is some sort of transitional bass then, because it has the newer bridge on it and the older neck.

I doubt it has any affect on its rarity though.
