Hey everyone! I need some prayers and positive thought coming my way on Tuesday the 20th as I will be going under the knife for 2 hours as ill be going thru neck/spinal surgery. Won't know the time until Monday Afternoon. I have 2 bulging and collapsed disks, 4/5 5/6. I'm really nervous to say the least but relieved that 3 years of extraordinary pain in left arm & neck will be gone, hopefully. Peace all :)

Ice - so sorry you're having to go through this. I very much empathize with you, as I will be undergoing the same damn thing soon. I was recently diagnosed with severe arthritis of the neck - I have collapsed discs at 7 and 9, and the resulting pinched nerve feels like I have a knife stuck in my back, my left arm is constantly numb, it's very painful to play guitar or bass while sitting (at least I can still play standing), and I haven't been able to play my drum kit in months...:bawl:
I hope your procedure goes well, and God bless you - I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

Prayers incoming.....

Sorry you have to deal with this, hopefully after the surgery it will all just be a bad memory. Almost nothing worse than neck and back pain. Best of luck with everything.

Godspeed, Mike. I wish you the best and a speedy recovery.

The answer: manboobs!

The strap will fit between them, like a woman's purse strap. Then, it won't move. :D

I believe you nailed it, brother! I'm guilty of having some chi chi's. I've never had a problem with neck dive. Muscle when your young, moobies when you're old. :bassist::bassist::bassist:

we've been getting some reviews on our debut album... I just thought I would share my excitement with my family \m/

That's great news, Donny. Hope something good turns out for you.

Surgery is for sure a scary experience, keep focusing on how much better you will feel after.

Remember: Spector shirt on, to and from Hospital :bassist:

Not sure what I have just yet but I picked this baby up in a trade for a cab a few days ago. Didn't know much about Spector basses before the deal but I figured if it was Korean with EMGs it would probably be worth having around. I have been very pleased so far!

Couple dings in the back of the neck and some pick/buckle rash to contend with but cleaned up real nice and has a good tone. Has that EMG growl I like so well but seems a bit "nazally" compared to the Shectors I have owned before. May need to just find its sweet spot.

I am missing the truss rod cover if anyone can help out. I have a guy that can make them but I need a pattern to go by.......Thanks!!

Looks like a Q5-Pro or a Legend 5. Both, very nice.

Great bass you got there. Spector sells the truss rod cover too.

Looks like a Legend. Great basses, I have one myself. I put a tonepump pre in mine and it really growls. Pick up a truss rod cover here....
