Though I rarely browse the general listings. I only search for "Spector" and all of the Spector listings show up on the 'front page' for me!

That's what I do to. I always have a specific thing in mind to look for.
The only improvement I can think of is a way to filter out the ads where the item has been sold.
And for everyone who sells on the classified (myself included), when you do sell, don't put "Sold" as the last post. Edit your original posting and put Sold there in large bold letters. It would help a lot.

Initial thoughts on the Spector VS your Fender? I have a Fender 4 string, but even when I'm playing the punkier stuff that doesn't require my low A I seem to always be playing my Spector 5er's.
Well, tonight is a big night for me, my first real gig in over 5 years. Between some family issues, work schedule, and a lack of venues around here it just wasn't to be. Casino gig playing classic rock and 80's retro with my reformed old band from years ago. Bringing the whole gang, NS2A, Rex 5 and the Legend X, can't wait to finally hit a stage after all this time.

Good luck man! Just like riding a bike. I've had a couple 2-3 year gaps between gigging times in my life. Once you play that first note, it's like you never stopped.

By the gold hardware and three band pre, it appears you have an older Legend. I've got one in four string, and its great!
I believe you can buy a new truss rod cover bery reasonably right off the Spector site.
Hey everyone! I need some prayers and positive thought coming my way on Tuesday the 20th as I will be going under the knife for 2 hours as ill be going thru neck/spinal surgery. Won't know the time until Monday Afternoon. I have 2 bulging and collapsed disks, 4/5 5/6. I'm really nervous to say the least but relieved that 3 years of extraordinary pain in left arm & neck will be gone, hopefully. Peace all
Been there myself. Mine was lower back L3-S1. I still can't feel my left foot from nerve damage. But that was due to 3 years of trying everything BUT surgery and disk fragments laying on the nerves and calcifying the nerve and fragments together. Mine was a career ender as a Firefighter Paramedic. But my church family was there for me. Visits everyday from small group friends, meals at the house for my wife and family while I was in the hospital. Lean on friends and family. I will send the prayers your way. God will make sure everything goes as it should. Blessings brother.

I burned out and went for over 6 years until I got back on stage in December 2011 and it was great!

Speaking of Casino gigs, I got a call today from Downstream casino asking for us to cover for a band that cancelled tomorrow nights show. So...it looks like I get to play at a casino as well.

I can't say it better. Truly hope all goes well and you are able be without pain. I believe JPS has had back surgery. Not sure if its the same type of procedure that you are having, but I know that a positive mental attitude was a big factor in his recovery.
