Now there's a couple of beautiful UV's. :hyper:

I bet the final product will be closer in color than what they look in those photos.

If you notice, the 2nd photo has higher contrast than the 1st, the reds, blues and blacks are more pronounced on the picture in the background. and the lighting is different, look at the shadows.

I agree and your correct Clearwave, I have noticed different colors pop out of the bass in different lighting, direct sun light versus walking it inside the house feels like someone pulled a switch on me! lol

That's true of both my Spectors as well. In brighter light they really look quite gorgeous. My Korean NS20004 is black, and looks just black as night in a darkened room, but put a spotlight on it and these gray-greenish highlights pop out.

That's just the extra-cool of having a Spector, IMHO.

This is not to take away from Bunk's UV. I wish I had a pic of his bass taken in Stuart office too!

I am interested in this, too. I would love to deliver a comparison, but it is very hard to even get a US 9V circuit atm. I'd buy one in an instant.

I know there was someone who had clips at one point. If I recall correctly it sounded really good. I would just like to hear it again. Also I have a USA 9 V preamp... I just need to buy another base to put it in :)

Hi guys. I posted these clips of my new project over in the Maryland bassist club thread but that thread seems a bit dead lately so I'm gonna post them here for you all to listen to. It worries me posting them here though all you guys are way way better and way way more pro than my project. Genre is R&B/Soul. So excuses aside here they are. Recorded in my basement with a Zoom H4N. Be gentle. ;)

Oh, Spector Euro5lxTW through my sons' GK MB115 combo

That would be cool to see them all together, wonder if there is a picture taken on Stuart's desk of his bass???

From what I gather these shots on Stuarts desk are only an occasional thing. In your case it's because the bass was used as a showcase item. In mine, PJ, Stuart, and Todd were discussing the current look of UV basses and Stuart simply grabbed the nearest UV bass waiting for assembly and snapped a shot. It just happened to be mine.

Thank You very much Super! Hey is it just me or does anyone else see a difference in the horns, my lower horn looks a little shorter (stubby) and the top horn looks narrow...custom hand work!

To the untrained eye, most NS-2s look alike, but for those of us in the know, we see the subtle differences in each & every one of them that prove they are all handmade works of art. ;)

Yeah they stay pretty busy at the workshop...I've asked for pics of my custom builds in the past but its a crap shoot...depends how busy they are at the time I've been told...:hmm:
Very true statement...
+1 :)

Sounds great! I really dig the Spector song tracks when members post them. Though Spectors are nice to look at, I would rather hear tracks and check out projects.

price flash: HelloMusic.com in its daily (or bi-daily, I DK which) email to me has listed a Euro4LX Ian Hill Sig model for $1498 US. Probably a 24-hour price, but thought I would pass it along for anyone that likes black basses.
