Merci Beaucoup.

I'm *thinking* about selling my black NS 2000/5 equipped with korean haz copy preamp. I only have a gig bag for it, but if someone on the east coast is interested I can pick up a cheap case on CL... The only reason I'm thinking about this is that this bass doesn't have the same output as all my others.. but it sure plays like a dream. If someone is interested let me know in a PM. Thanks guys.

O ya, this was Ice's bass, he can confirm it is SWEET

If that bass had the crown inlays it'd already be on it's way to Southern California.

It's the fact that it doesn't that makes it a rare bass. The "Transition Bass" made right after Stuart reacquired the Spector trademark back from Kramer.

It had the stick on kind on it and I asked that they be removed. But you could alway put them back on.

Sounds really good at 18v too!

Hey Spector Club! Been a lurker a bit and have asked for help and advise from a few of you (thanks LimaGuy and ebradfordrich) but it's definitely time I submit my NS20004. This has come quite way upgrade wise for me, but now in its final form it has EMG 35P & J pickups and a Mighty Mite MM114 pre. This is beastly, I owe it to flipping the EMG 35J upside down, shifting the coil up and the pre copy giving it that Spector sweetness. Gotta get some better pics tho.

She's a beaut for sure. I've looked at the ad probably 50 times and mulled over it, lol! In the end, with a Euro in my stable and about to drop a lot of coin for an NS-2 I don't need it - but as long as its available I'll probably keep looking at the ad and debating with myself :D

Look away my friend, look away. I'm waiting on an NS-2 myself. That's why it's for sale. LOL

Hey Spector club, I'm looking to buy a new amp and I'd like to have some input from you guys.

I'm looking for a powerful, lightweight, small amp thaht can cut through two heavily distorted guitars in a death metal context. I use a clean tone, need the best note definition and am not against a growly amp, eventhough I will probably buy a pedal in the future for that purpose (thinking Darkglass B3k).

Any ideas ? I'm going to test drive a Tecamp Puma 900 this weekend, any input those relatively to my music style appreciated, as well as other recomendations.
I was also thinking Genz Benz (streamliner 900), Aguilar (TH500) or Gallien Krueger..

Thank you!

I really like the tone of the Black Cherry NS2 with the Pau Ferro neck, when I have to play an aggressive sound this bass likes to dig in...This picture was taken at Turtleheads last Saturday, check out the collection in the rafters! lol
