I doubt that it'll have the P-bass body though. Just the standard Jazz inspired Coda body. IMHO But that's cool. Can't wait to see it.

Just PM tracebassplayer and he'll get you a number. Welcome! :bassist:

We've had a Coda with a P pickup on order for the store for about 3 or 4 months. Should be coming soon!

FYI if you guys are excited about P-bass Coda's keep an eye on PJ's presentation at bass player live! in November. He enlightened me on their plans when I ordered it. I'm not some bad ass insider or anything btw, just a Spector endorsed artist. And my custom Coda will actually have features more in line with a standard P-bass than the Coda Jazz, but I really wanted to make sure the neck somewhat mimicked the feel of my euro 4. Also, I've tried tons of amp configurations, and believe it or not I think the best Spector tone I've heard comes out of my Orange rig. I'm using the Terror bass 1000 and it really lets the tone shine throught without messing with it.

If you can finally get a Coda with something other than a 1.5" nut, that will be amazing. Sorry, but my Nosferatu hands can't handle a 1.5" nut so this will be great news if that is the case.

  8. This is why I never buy J-basses...or MOST 4 strings. I like to play low...not narrow. ^_^

Is it with the 1.5 nut or are they making you a standard P width of 1.625????

It'll definitely be closer to 1.625...I'd been talking with PJ about a Spector P myself, so I know a little bit about what they have planned for NAMM and BPL, but I've been sworn to secrecy at the moment ;)

If it's made by Spector, it'll be a huge hit ;) I'm even digging on the coda's right now.
