The neck on Euro's are usually thicker front to back then NS-2A's. This particular Euro seems to have an extra beefy neck.

On another note, which I guess shows how insane I am.
I know the last 7 owners of this bass. The Ser# is NB2525

I remember ebradfordrich selling it back in May 2012.
So since then its been with:
ebradfordrich
gearHed289
Jeffplaysbass
Mr.Bassie720
brotherbassj
Smadder
Worshiprocker

Eric, do you remember who you originally purchased it from?

I think you may have even Pm'd me asking questions about it before you bought it.
:cool::)

Welcome to the club and the land of SAS! :hyper:

Oh, you mean this old thing! LOL I've actually been thinking of trying this through my old GPX12 SMX preamp to see how it sounds. I used that pre with a Stewart PA1000 for many years.

I love every single change that Joe had done on this bass. I can't wait to play it through my big rig. My only problem is I am going to need to used different strings to down tune. The badass bridge doesn't fit a .115 Dunlop Heavy Core. I think I can get away with a tapered or exposed core .110/.115 any suggestions for strings with higher tension?

Good to know. I was going to throw my BA2 on my Fender & BEAD tune it!

I'm really liking the DR brand (using Lo-Riders), you will have to look them up to see if they build something that fits your bridge....have you ever tried these strings?

110 DR's will fit the BadAss II just fine, I used to use DR 110's on my BadAss equipped frankenjazz for BEAD tuning...I personally prefer Hi-Beams/Sunbeams, but if you want something with higher tension go for the one of the Lo-Rider sets, and if you need to go heavier than 110's you should try a Longneck set...those are just stainless Lo-Riders tapered at the bridge to a single wrap over the core :)

Good question, Sam. I had to troll back through my PMs but it looks like I procured it from Guygrooves back in February 2012. That lovely was the Spector gateway drug for me. :bassist:
