Could I just run my center-detent pots into the TP?

I didn't find I needed the centre detents with the TP. I just set it how it sounded good. I had to rely on bass boosting from my rig because the non trim would overdrive my bass with any bass boost onboard. The non trim is useable if you wanna mess around and find your sound, you just really have to know how to use it.

I'm not positive, but I don't think the Tonepump would be at 'flat' using pots with center detents, plus I'm not sure of the values of the pots themselves.

I already have a BQC in another bass that I could rip out.

Any difference between the BTS and BQC?

Many here like the BQC because of it's added sweepable mid control.

I put the OBP-3 in my old Euro but never really used the mid control so I would've been better suited with the OBP-2.

PS... Good luck getting anyone to part with a US 9v. :)
