Yesterday was on a rehearsal with new band and first time tried my NS-2 with B3K through MESA amp. Incredible. This NS-2->B3K->Mesa is an awesome combo. It's a shame Mesa heads are so heavy...otherwise I'd get it already.

What mesa are you running through? I just nabbed a Mesa Prodigy locally and this things all tube with 4 KT88's and weighs 29 lbs! My euro 5LX and Rex 5 sound great through it!

Hey fellow TBers,
I found one of these in mint condition for $700. Is it worth pulling the trigger? I do not need another bass but always have wanted a Spector. Its not the neck through p/j I was after but its sure hurting my belly with gas!! Its either that or a NS-2A for $500. I am conflicted about this and need a sane opinion!! I know someone here can steer me in the right direction.

I've never played the rebop but I love my NS2A. Very easy to upgrade pups or pre's if you need. Neck thru & gets the Spector tone in spades.

I guess I'll use Scarlet today and run it using the SansAmp Para Driver, killer sound running into the Yamaha digital console and full PA with the Aviom in ear monitor.

Played a show on friday night. The band that was on before us, their bassist had no idea what she was doing, the poor thing. It looked like the rest of the band just practiced without her. No sheet music or anything.

I screwed up a couple of songs real well, it was pretty awesome actually. I faked the hell out of playing them :D I did not know what happened, the notes just went straight out of my head. I would have been embarrassed more if the sound didn't suck so much! :D I swear, soundguys don't know what to do with Spectors.

Other than that, the rest of the songs went really well and I had a great time. It was the first time playing with this band, they do covers. They said that they enjoyed playing with me though, so I guess they had no idea :D Fun times!
