At the Casino last Friday the soundman wanted me to use the Para Driver and just run the bass into a wedge, I have been doing this at church but wound up bringing the Peavey up on stage so I could feel the 1820 behind me.

I got the JAR strung up with some D'addarios and they sound good. Played through an almost completely new rig tonight. I set up my rack again and this time I'm using an RBI. Here is a pic. Going tuner > RBI > power amp of the SVT 6-pro

O definately! This thing is growly for a fretless and it's my first time playing a haz pre and it's completely different from what I expecting. The bass boost is very fat and I can get all kinds of sounds from it!

The Fretless bass bug seems to be going around lately
Started with Carey I believe. I bought one yesterday but it's not a Spector. (Ibby SR375R)
Quick question.I traded for phats Forte after playing Euros for the last eight years.I must be so used to the Euro models that the Forte just feels weird(to me).I have been spending a lot of time with it but we just ain't jelling,am i crazy ? The bass sounds amazing and i would prefer not to sell it,but i would prefer to have a bass that is comfortable for me to play.I have had at least 20 Euro models and never had this problem.

Is it the neck? I hear the necks are thicker than Euros on the Fortes and all USAs unless you ask for the shaved neck. (which I don't think you can to with the Forte)
Keep working with it. You'll probably get used to it.

I love unlined fretless. If I owned one I would want it unlined, except I'm afraid I'd never figure out how to play it.
