If it were me I'd have ordered a new neck months ago.

Do you have to clean the truss rod routing out or was he able to help with that?

BTW... They say that the double stop lever allows dropping of the E all the way to B. :eek:

If I had the funds, I would have ordered a maple block neck. :P But, we make due with what we can. ^_^

The channel's clean. I'm going to clean it out with sandpaper to be safe, though.

That song has a great sounding bass riff...do you have these Hipshot extenders at the Guitar House for all of us Spector guys?

I worked it up and like the bass pattern...it does rock! Your very lucky to have seen them with 'close' to the original line up, maybe they will get it back together and bring Chris back out with them for a reunion...we can only hope!

You guys are killing me with all of these pictures! i never should have sold my red Euro 4. :crying:

Have any of you ordered a Euro but asked for a matte finish on the back of the neck? Is this even possible? Something for me to think about in the future.

matte is a finish option, according to the official site. I suppose if you get matte on the front, you get it on the back, but not front gloss and matte on the neck. Don't think that's doable unless you have clout.

you are exactly right…. its all or nothing from Spector. But I sure do love the matte finish on the neck :)

Todd said the other night that the Spector basses he has at the Guitar House are on sale to the club memebers for 10% off, He has some nice stuff on the site (even a cool looking Bahama Blue NS2!)...just in case you might have a interest/desire and want to cash in on the discount before your trip!

You might be able to get that with a bolt on neck, Todd would know your options or what can be done...give him a call (918) 835-6959 at the Guitar House.
