Probably not at this point. I went in 03 as a Yamaha "employee", badge said I was "with" Yamaha Musical Instruments and I had no issues but I understand they have tightened up quite a bit.

Bummer! Tonight's gig has been cancelled due to this little Canadian Clipper dumping 6-10" of snow, making low to no visibility. :rolleyes:
That's 4 weeks in a row of cancellations...first 2 were holiday eves, last two due to weather...Sigh :scowl: Okay, that's my rambling...carry on!:D

i have used drum cymbal cleaner to get rid of tarnish on used basses, such as exposed poles, bridges, etc. But I am very careful with it, because basically its acid and it eats your fingers away. separately, if anyone's looking to remove bass player callouses, there's something it works for as well.

Thanks for sharing this, John. I haven't seen this for several months, and as soon as it loaded, it sent chills up my spine all over again. I've been lucky enough to see and to know some truly amazing musicians in my time but Chris was something special. I only wish I'd had more time to know him. I think about him a lot, and almost never take off my LOE bracelet.

Outstanding! Looking forward to post surgery! Take lots of photos of the before/during/After :D You will be doing the swap yourself right?
JPS posted in the past about what to use to buff the brass hardware on Spector basses...fingernail buffer. I tried this (using my wife's of course) and works fast and looks like new afterwards. :hyper::cool:

Yeah I was planning to drive over to Minnesota to see Chris when he was going to visit his sister & family. Chris had amazing bass playing skills for sure. :cool:
