Just needed to chime in with RIP Chris Loe. The way everyone came together in support was pretty inspiring and a testament to him. God bless his family, I hope they have found some comfort and peace over the past year.

I'm thinking of trading out the badass bridge in favor of a hipshot bridge on my JAR, is the hipshot A a direct replacement?

Aw man! I could totally go! If I could somehow come up with plane ticket cash, hotel cash and a way to spin thus so my wife doesn't get super mad hehe! But seriously, I'd love to go there someday. There is nothing like that in Norway. There is in Germany, but that requires knowing some German I'm sure. Wasn't there a Namm/bass player thing in London?

So, while I work on the neck, I'm looking at pulling out the tonepump and wiring it into my currently passive P-bass.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for passive pickups. The guide on the spector site is confusing me. :S

I don't believe the screw holes will line up, but still easily doable.

Just wrote this entire post out in Norwegian, then remembered where I was posting...

Anyway, this gives me an idea. Black Cherry stain wings with a black stain.. middle part.. For the 6LX. That would be awesome.

Turns out it is lined (I had asked for unlined). But according to Scott Devine having lines is important when starting to play fretless, plus they didn't have any others and Jimmy says ALL Korean fretless basses are lined. So I took it.

When I was communicating with Mark Sharp from Hanser, he assured me an unlined fretless neck for a Legend 5.

Congratulations Ho! You're a lucky man! I don't know how many times I've looked at that bass and thought of buying it, but, it's missing a string.

LOL....This is the other Jeff, the one with the BEM on his Ultraviolet NS2 (you can call me Carey)....LOL....I got to see your new bass when I picked up Scarlet the Black Cherry NS2, I was so involved playing Todd's basses that I didn't get a chance to touch the one that you got...plus that Black Cherry kept me distracted until I got to pull it down from the wall for a play!

I imagine Hanser has more experience with the Legend basses than the Woodstock shop. In their defense I think for new basses this is true, after-market options are another thing. Todd did get a quote from them for what I wanted and they said $349 for the neck. What I got was MUCH cheaper so I'm cool.
