I think if I were going to put a pickguard on it I would use a clear pickguard like Sadowsky does on their premium tops. That way you get the best of both worlds. I personally like them without it though.

You can still see most of the quilt with a guard like this.

You know you want it JEFF....something to add to the collection! I still wouldn't cover it as well but like you said others seem to like guards and to each there own.

OH, I do. But Todd's shipping my fretless neck out tomorrow and the Legend arrives tomorrow so I've got that project going to distract me.

I like the colour scheme, but I think with the size of the bodies on these, they need something to add contrast. Otherwise it looks like a sea of quilt & colour. There's still tons of the quilt that would show, too.

This is exactly what I liked about the original Codas, the new ones need contrast, the bodies are very big compared to a NS body Spector

For my next build I'm going with two 35Ps in an NS4. I'm liking the Pup sound. I had a BC Rich once with two P-pups and it sounded great.

Nahhh bro, it's a nice idea. My friend have a Rich with double P and its sound great to my ears.
