I guess. But it just seems so empty. :(

You can still see most of the quilt with a guard like this. :D

It's cool man. Too each their own. Personally I never liked the pickguards. Here's a shot of the only Fender I ever owned...

I like'em like that. Wish I could get that Coda.

Working on a bunch of new music for the new year with a few different bands, here's an EP from a year or two back with some of my studio buddies...recorded with my upgraded Spector Rex through a variety of Tech 21, Aguilar & Darkglass gear, definitely some of the meanest tones I've ever had ;) :bassist:

I'll have some newer stuff up soon...

I like the colour scheme, but I think with the size of the bodies on these, they need something to add contrast. Otherwise it looks like a sea of quilt & colour. There's still tons of the quilt that would show, too.

This is exactly what I liked about the original Codas, the new ones need contrast, the bodies are very big compared to a NS body Spector

Great tunes and KILLER bass sound!

Works great, sounds great! Really like the bass and instrumentals on both along with the vocals on the second one. Can't wait to hear more!

Thank you sir :D

Here's the direct link for the full 'Life' EP, it's working just fine now: https://soundcloud.com/matthew-the-bass-player/sets/after-life-ep

I'll post the link to the new demos playlist as soon as I get them up, I figured it was about time devote a page to just showcasing how great Spector basses sound in a variety of different settings, like Sam and those who came before me have done :bassist:

A very nice balance of grit, punch and bite - I like it! :bassist:
