A lot of that is going to depend on what it was finished with. Some finishes just won't do anything beyond an eggshell gloss.
Steel wool will Matte the finish. You're going to need a polish & some sort of cloth. Beyond that, I don't know.

The spots where joe's arm rested on bass is shinier than eggshell so im assuming I can get that look all across bass....
You'll want 0000 steel wool. It's super fine....not to be confused with the stuff to clean your stainless sink.
Hehe. That's the same stuff I use to change the sticky gloss on my P-bass neck to Satin smooth.
My fear with the DIY method is getting uneven results. The high speed buffing wheel with polishing compound would make short work of it. Best to totally dis assemble the instrument before they/ you work on it.
I would ask Ho who did the refinish and contact them to ask what to do, I believe this is a matt finish without gloss so all your wanting to do is remove the natural oils that are left behind from contacting the surface....correct?
OOOPS...I thought you wanted to return to the natural matt finish, if your wanting to add a gloss I would still contact the finisher and ask him what he would recommend using (you still might have to remove the natural body oils first before applying the oils he recommends).

It's a matte polyurethane finish. If there is even the slightest doubt in your mind that you can do a perfect job of it, take it to a professional guitar finisher. I'm not any sort of finishing maven, but I can tell you that there are at least three flat out wrong responses on your question. You want your Spector to look like what it is. A high end instrument built and maintained by master craftsmen. I'm not going to say craftsperson for the sake of being politically correct.

I've just wanted to ask if anybody uses their Duality fuzz 
Not yet...
This one is #1 on my radar though. The sound clips sound amazing, and I think it would add just the right amount of warmth & grind without being overbearing.

However, has anybody had a chance to compare Duality with You're Doom fuzzez? I own the Duality for about a week but can't sqeeze it through the mix while band praticing
