I took a shot of the back of my UV NS2 to show how they stained the neck through. It has kind of an "antique" look that I like. Like it had been played so much the stain was worn away.

In that dark video I thought this is what Mike's NS2 looked like. But from that pic Donny put up and later glimpses in the video I see different.

The Coda UV with active EMG pickups at the Guitar House looked fantastic, the sound was familiar with the EMG P/J setup and OBP2...I would agree that a UV Coda 5 string would make a guy very happy!

Just put on the aluminum bridge that Spector sent us for this NS-2 that already had the reclaimed redwood back. This bass only weighs 8.25 lbs now. Didn't notice any tonal change at all. Now this baby has it all, looks, light weight and tone for days.

Oh, I'm sure they'll work on them, but I don't think it would be the same treatment as a USA custom build. They'll give it their all, but there's probably less they can do before they say "just replace it".

As for the neck, are you sure they didn't source it through Hanser? That's where everything I've needed for my ReBop has come from, even after talking to PJ.

Generally anything import wise comes through Hanser but in the case of Jeff's neck, it did come from Spector. For some reason they happened to have one in stock in NY.

Same with warranty work, import warranty is handled by Hanser and USA warranty work is handled by Spector.

This bass looked killer, the reclaimed redwood has nice tone...like Jeff said this brown burst would even look cool on a Coda P-Bass.
