That was my approach to playing for most of the 80's.

LMBOROTF!!!:o:D
Yup I need a haircut ha..

That one is my newest, a Blue quilt NS2000/4 w/EMG 35P&J and the mighty mite pre, I tune it BEAD w/Hi-beams. The other one I played with was a Amber non-figured NS2000/4, same setup but tuned standard/drop D. No frills setup just amp/cab w/ my recently purchased a SVT 7 pro that shined really well that night.:bassist:
Haircut...What for?!?! You look good brother:bassist::cool:
That sounds like a great setup and one of my favs, as for the pups!:bassist: :bassist: :bassist:
These were what I was thinking.

Those are the ones! :D
That explains it. He should do that on all of them. IMHO
+1! Sounds like a solution long in the coming:cool:

your tone is great man,
I played a Prolite 2.0 with 2 Sansamp RBI's for a clean/dirty blend for about 8 months and really liked the rig while I had it. I've since found my tone in Mesa amps and a Darkglass B7K but it was a great lightweight rig with that Ampeg/Sansamp sizzle everyone loves. I'd definitely recommend a Prolite 2.0 to someone looking for a lightweight high powered amp as it always had tons of power for my needs. Here's a pic that features my trusty Euro 5LX.

such a killer looking rig man!

That's cool Kyle, female or male singer?

Recently I acquired a Les Paul electric guitar and played it public for the first time yesterday at our church. I have to share bass time every other week. But it still was a blast! Played directly thru DI box thru house. I missed playing my Big Blue though. :bassist: Blue will get a lot of playing time this week. One of our guitarist who has been playing in our church band for 20+ years passed away a week ago and we are playing in a memorial in her honor of course, this coming Saturday, a lot of songs. Looking forward to honoring our fallen musician & dear friend who was loved by all and is dearly missed by all. R.I.P. Mary:)

That sucks to hear about the passing, RIP indeed! Hope you play a great show and honor her well! I've never been a fan of Les Pauls, but a guitar is a guitar :D

As for the audition, the singer was faaaantastic! Oir drummer's wife was standing outside and she was insanely impressed as well. So now we're a three piece. Just need to find a couple of guitarists. Shouldn't be too hard! :D

Taken me a while to get back into the Spector club as I've been too poor. I picked this up from a local Spector dealer for $1500.00 AUD (street price here is about $2600.00 AUD). I know the finish is odd but I love it. Struggled to tame the output of the preamp till I found the trim pot internally!

Unashamedly positioned next to it's German cousin!

Thanks Kyle. We will do her proud I'm sure of it.
I'd never really cared for Les Paul guitars either but a teen in our church sold it to me so he could buy a new Ibanez, gave me a low price I couldn't refuse. Now I wish I would've kept the Spector Arc 6 Pro I bought about 2-3 years ago:rolleyes: Only if I knew I was going to start playing guitars...I'll eventually buy a Spector electric guitar no doubt.:bassist:

That's cool about your new singer! Male/Female? Yeah guitarist are penny a dozen right! Lol ;) Getting one that's not a wannabe superstar is another story though. :ninja: Good luck!

Yeah, wannabe superstars are everywhere. We have a careful audition process though, if one of us feels uneasy for whatever reason, it's a no.Tough, but it works. He's a male singer, with an awesome voice! I expect you'll get to hear it in a few weeks after we've written lyrics and recorded them :)

Sweet deal on the guitar, the Scencter 7 I got last week was also an amazingly low offer I just could not refuse. So I get it as usually I stick to Jackson guitars (their basses are a mess though)

NEVER CARED FOR LES PAULS!!!!
ConanEyeballs_zpsd92f29cc.gif

Les Pauls were the guitar that brought Rock 'n Roll out of it's infancy.
After Jimi Hendrix burned his Strat at Woodstock how do you follow that? With a different guitar.

(of course you know I'm messing with you Michael ;) )

Of course Jeff...I have a great sense of humor! :D http://youtube.com/watch?v=hjlTZCeF2EU

Anybody who's doing the SpectorTrip from out west be interested in meeting up and caravan-ing/carpooling along the way? I figure I'm probably the farthest west, along with anybody else in California that's planning on going.
