Well, I finally joined you crazy guys :) Just closed the deal on an NS-6H2!! I should receive it on Friday. After doing lots of research on Spectors and asking you guys lots of questions, not to mention having the opportunity to play about half a dozen different models over the last month or two, I am pretty well convinced that the US bolt-ons are by far the best Spector model for me and what I like. I'm excited to get it and really check it out!

I just ordered a new trim TP for my matte black Euro. The GBZ pickups have the long j and they are not available in the short j. So I am going to be listing it when the TP gets here to fund a passive Coda P/J built with the GBZ's. Anyone here that might be interested let me know.

Alrighty guys, still have a few things in the classifieds that need selling, I'm actually shocked the white NS-2J-AR in particular is still here...the NS-2A had two local buyers before I left for SXSW, but by the time I'd gotten back they'd both already purchased other basses :scowl:

I'm leaving the discounts in effect until I hit the road again on the 26th, show some love for a brother ;)

Oh man! If I hadn't just budgeted for finalizing the repairs on my ReBop, that NS-2A would be on its way to me! :(

I wonder if I can offload a Fender MP Jazz quickly? :D

This white NS-2JA-R should be a killer. Considering it's a copy of Brooklyn NS-2JA which I had a pleasure to own for a while and it has been one of the best JJ basses I ever had. I'm also shocked it is still here for such a price. GLWTS Matt!

So someone has offered me a Hartke 5500 amp in trade for my KBX bass. I generally use my Ampeg 8x10 and SVT pro 4 at larger shows but have a Peavey max 115 for the smaller ones, is there anything I'm missing not having aa Hartke amp?

Fantastic!! Did you snag the one in the classifieds?? I can say that other than maybe a Forte or Kramer NS-2, I'm pretty much a Spector BO kinda guy! I could definitely see a 6'er in the collection one day!

Congrats on your purchase and look forward to seeing pics! :bassist:

The only one in the classifieds for the last year or so that I saw was being sold by Ant Luv, and after nearly making a deal with him he decided to keep his. So I got the one that had shown up on the GC site that was at a store in Delaware. I was able to have it significantly discounted by emailing with the store's manager and showing him threads on Talkbass and eBay of those basses selling for much less than they were asking, and he was a nice and receptive guy and was very flexible!

Pics when I get it, hopefully this Friday :)

Nice work using Talkbass and eBay for your discount.

Hi ,
I'm trying to locate a Spector bass banner produced a few years ago. It reads "Spector - basses built for a lifetime" and measure 12" x 36" approx.
It also features an amber NS2 bass. Can anybody in the Spector community help?

Will pay over $100 plus shipping.

Many thanks.
