When I'm bored I sometimes do illustration. It's something I was trained to do many, many years ago. I'll go a couple of years without drawing anything then I'll hit a creative mood and do 10 or so illustrations in a week.

I don't have a finger ramp, but I saw one mounted to a NS-JH6 on ebay several months ago. It was ebony or 'ebonized' and you could hardly tell it was there. Looked like one big pickup.

Fretless guy we have a tie. Mine was also 699! Like you i had to clean up mine a bit. Fingerboard funk an inch deep, but the gold hardware is nearly perfect! When you see older Spectors sometimes the bridge is very tarnished. You can tell by the bridge if the former owner played with a pick:smug::D I remeber when you scored that ns2 i was very happy for you, I said to myself "why cant that happen to me" Mine is in just as good condition as yours but my ns2 is white. Hey had this been a Euro it would have been a good deal. But me being a bass geek payed off! Guitar center had the description up before the picture, First thought was they did not make many white Euros Then when they posted the picture up a few minutes later my heart nearly stopped!

Unfortunately not lucky enough. Even though it was by far the best sounding bass I've ever owned (my Euro4 was the best playing), I had to flip it due to my wife having her work hours cut back to 1/2 day a week for the past year. I'll own another some day, just not sure when. :crying:

I picked it up used last week on the classified section of this place. It was built in 2010 and was much less than the prices you are mentioning but those are probably new. I'm not sure if we are allowed to discuss prices in threads like this but if you shoot me a PM, I can let you know. I saved a bit since we are able to arrange a local pickup.

Check out the classifieds section though. I just did a quick search in there and see a Euro 5LX for sale and there are also some 4 string Rebop's there as well.
