So Grendle hooked me up on these and they should be in today, which means tomorrow I get to upgrading. :hyper: I'd like to give a shout out to Limaguy too as he has been a lot of help too... great group here

Can't wait to hear your report!!!

LimaGuy...I like your new Avatar! Cool!!:bassist:

Well, I guess it's time for me to do the honorable thing and resign my number.

I sold my Spector this morning and I really hate to leave this club. I've never been into neck thrus and while it was a great bass, I think a bolt on Spector will be in my future. :)

I don't believe you need to do that as long as you buy another SPECTOR soon!?! Can't wait to see your new bolt-on! I believe other here have done the same.
You have SPECTOR in your blood now

Trace...anyone??!!

As long as he is stays in the market for a Spector bolt-on;
I vote to let him stay.
Mad is a very cool guy and did an honorable thing and sold his Spector instead of ripping the PU's out.

I am thinking he may be one of those guys that loves the ReBop tone.

P.S.
You know I will keep him updated by sending him every lead I see to a 5 string ReBop or Legend. :bassist: :hiding:

Believe me, I fought that decision tooth and nail. But I didn't want to devalue the bass by modding it because I didn't know if it would be the sound I wanted after the mods.

Thanks Ice,

I'm not really feeling the black cherry though. Think I might try to hold out for a Rebop though?

WHA?!? Resign your number? That's crazy talk to me. I thought it was the Hotel California in here, checkout any time you like and all... Can't one simply be an Alumni w/ visitation rights? I could see myself selling mine at some point, possibly even soon depending on how much I like what's coming in (and no, I won't mention the name because we get a little isolationist in here sometimes...) but hell, I have been in and out of Spectors for a long time. I say once a member, always a member.
