Geeeeeez! Love this!!!!

The bolt-on bass can be ordered with a solid wood body. I have seen several different configurations of the ash body (can't find any pics right now, but there was a fretless floating around that had the hum/J pup setup). There are also some solid maple bolt-on's out there ala Trace.
The body wood is kinda like the pickups- the standard is two hum, but you can actually order many different configurations. So the wood standard is mahogany back, different top. But..... there are still choices.

Has any one ever seen a trans green either ns2000 or legend custom? I hooked up with a guitarist that has 2 spectors he plays bass in a worship band also. He's looking to sell a bass to get a guitar cab for our project. He has a trans blue ns2000 ( I played it last night) and says he has a trans green one that's NT also, with a quilt top thats the same bass. Both say made in Korea on the headstock. Going to check it out today. I'm thinking it may be a ns2000 Q4? I can't find any info on green ever being available as a color though. I asked if it was teal, he said no its a pretty dark green. So thanks to you guys, i'll have a new to me Spector comming home later this evening lol. Most likely a green one, but maybe a blue one lol we'll see.

So since the one on eBay is a '98 & trace yours is an '00 sounds like the woods are inconsistent year to year, NS-2J to NS-2J. :eyebrow:
You know it goes, though... Every time we think we have it nailed down... JPS or Phat comes in and says "It was a special order" or something like that cause you can special order any bass from SPECTOR. :D LOL.

Just picked up my second Spector. The one the left was my first. It is a Euro Rebop bolt-on which cost me $599. The second is a Euro 4LX neck-thru in Ultra Amber Burst. Price paid $735 with a new Spector case.
I'm enjoying playing these more than any bass I've played in a long time.

Had a little bit of a scare tonight. We were playing a beautiful weather gig outdoors and all of a sudden a huge windy downpour came on us. The Spector got a little bit wet but I took off my shirt and wrapped it up. So it's fine. Just a few drops on the body, so nothing damaging at all. I'd give my Spector the shirt off my back I love it so much! :bassist:

Way to protect that beauty!

Very nice basses, and great deals on both!
