So the route needs to be 2 1/8 by 4 1/8 inches.

+1 I have a set of those Duncans with the mini-switches in one of my NS-2C's, and they really do sound great.
Worshiprocker, those Duncans have the preamp built into the pickup with mini-switches to adjust bass/mid/high so you dont need a pre with them.
I dont know how Jarrod has his hooked up though.
