Its less than California ... about the same as Washington ...
And unless you own property its no concern.... definitely the taxes we do have are not enough to make me want to move elsewhere .
I have lived in CA, OR, WA, and Utah. So my experience isn't that narrow.
 
Ok, I'm considering replacing the HZs in my Rebop for active DCs. I have the older model Tone Pump. Is this an easy operation? Do any pots have to be replaced?

I'm going to take it to a tech, but I want to understand the procedure.

Its actually a very simple procedure.

The HZ EMGs Vol pots are either 250K or 500K.
The Active DCs will run on 25K Vol pots.
The TonePump circuit will connect the same way with its current bass and treble pots.
The Active EMGs will need power and will connect into the battery that is already in the bass for the TonePump.

So bacially its the swapping of the 2 volume pots and connecting the new pickups to them and to the battery.
