How about a Spector sound comparison survey.
Click the link below, I have a sound clip of each of my current Spectors.
Some of you have heard this riff already, but its been re-recorded and there are a bunch of new people in the group.
Each bass is recorded directly into Pro Tools with no effects or compression.

I'll comment tomorrow when I can listen through headphones but I just love the fact that this works on my phone.
I usually end up picking your ns-2ja-r so let's see if that happens again![]()

Those are pretty cool. How about one without the blood? The inlays down the back look sweet.
Is this the exact bass I played at BPL?

I'm actually going to be filming SPECTOR Endorsed Artist Nicki Tedesco (no relation to Tulip) next week as she demonstrates the various tones and compares them between a couple of different models.
Nicki owns The Strands LA, a state-of-the-art recording studio in LA... as well as been a seriously bad-rear-end bassist with chops.
So that'll be fun.![]()
I absolutely concur. The one with just the inlays down the spine with the logo on the front is amazing. I want.

item number 106953082 at GC tobacco burst Rebop for $480.....
seems like a good deal if you are around Alabama
I wonder what a Forte 5 would sound like with that Aguilar J2 setup...I actually like it a lot. It's got the comfort and feel of the USA NS-Bolts but those Aguilar pups are passive or active. So you can go completely passive on the tone circuit (or bypass it is a better description) and it has that old 1970's J sound... sort of noisy and gritty.
I love this bass actually. It's a Coda-4 in an NS-Body.![]()
Anyone ever hear, sound wise, a SPECTOR with the J's or PJ? If you know of a video would you please post? Thank you!
