I say this because the new SPECTOR Electric Guitars website went live about an hour ago.

The Bass guitars have their own site and now so do the electrics.

I like it when things are nice and ordered. :-)

the horn was a giveaway for me.... I love the history of this company.... I love that there are standard versions of all these basses but you can custom order anything.... makes me want to sell my Gibson Les Pauls to buy a USA Arc. drool :bassist:

You have my utmost sympathy - been there twice, and just waiting for the next stone to drop! Actually my left one is probably half full of gravel. :bawl:

For a little while, morphine can be your dearest friend.

If you have to go in for a "procedure," let me know and I'll clue you in on what to expect.

Yea, you are a very nice guy. I gotta say, without you, Patrick I would not have gotten My Euro 4 and it is my fav now. Back in the day I played video games and was on some of the forums. Some of the people posting could make you cry. Lol, it was brutal. I learned from the best. I went and made a little gentle post there on that thread, intending to bait that guy and then start opening up and ripping him a new one. But I thought better of it and deleted the post. You have a lot of friends here.

Trust me, if morphine does not work, Demerol + Phenogan will not only stop the pain but knock you smooth out! Lol, I got hurt badly twice and morphine had no effect I could even tell at all. (tell them you are very nauseated and Phenogan works well for you, the Demoral stops the pain, the Phenogan knocks you unconsious)

Stuart had the same problem. He said he got a Network Solutions Page.

I had him clear his browser cache AND reboot his computer and it came right up.

Ironically, Jo Ann, the SPECTOR office manager, was on her computer in the next office and it came right up for her. Which is why Stuart called me.

PJ saw it without any issues.

I think that domain has been dead for so long (they've had it 10 years and never had any content there) that the DNS servers have cached that NetSol page.

Try the suggested fix above. It worked for Stuart in Woodstock.

Evil, since you are in the UK, it might take a bit longer for the changes to replicate out to the DNS servers.

Depending on your ISP, you can sometimes flush the DNS cache on your cable router since it might take them longer for updates to take effect. If you are running Windows, you can try going to a command prompt and typing: ipconfig /flushdns

but that will only flush out anything stored locally on your machine.

In my short gigging life, I've played with a DI signal straight off the bass twice. Once was my Sterling, and once recently with my Spector. For both, I didn't use my amp's DI; it's a bit hot, but I did use it for stage sound, and carried the DI signal to the board for the mains, so that's a pretty good apples-to-apples comparison of the two basses on their own. Both were audible, but the Spector was a more pronounced, stood out more. The Sterling was just kinda...."there". Not knocking the EBMM at all...it's a great bass, it's just, to my ears, the Spector brings an extra something to the table, as well as a distincitve tone shape.

There's a boing or slight twang sound to a J2 that just makes me cock my head sideways that just doesn't set right with my ears, with the sound that I have in my head how I like a bass to sound. :eyebrow: Just "My" humble & delicate hearing opinion. :D
A friend of mine plays in a local rock band loves Fender J basses...his has that boing sound too...another friend of ours that plays in a different rock band noticed the same thing of Jazz basses. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I get the same with any SPECTOR that I gig with in our church...the sound guys are always nagging me to turn down my volume :scowl: 2 weeks ago they turned my channel on the board to neg 30 and my tiny 75W Line6 lowdown 110 cube was still filling the 400+ seat auditorium. Lol :bassist: they ended up just muting the channel on the board. They said my amp was enough. We have 3 electric guitars too, plus KB, drums, congos, 8 vocals. I said to one guitarist, i don't understand their problem? He said to me, just look at the Bass you're playing! That's a high quality bass! Thank you! :Cool: Hehehe
