:hyper: :bassist:It has arrived. I actually found the UPS guy on the main road so didnt have to wait till 7PM tonight. It is stunning in person and plays like a dream.

One thing I didn't mention when playing it at BPL, the pau ferro just looks amazing - feels amazing too. Of course when you're looking at it in real life, it really is a thing to behold. The flame really stands out - I think the matte finish really helps bring out the pattern. Be careful with the OBP knobs, just a touch and you'll notice incredible boost!

I didn't have any problems adjusting even without picking up a bass for so many years. There are dots on the side of the neck so those were sufficient enough for me to know where I was.

I play by side markers anyways. The way I sling and hold the bass it works out better. Plus I try not to look at the fretboard as much.

We have an old Peavey 18" Black Widow Sub that we aren't using and I decided to make a bass stack out of it and my Fender 410 Pro. This bumped up the output of my SWR to 400 watts and gave me the Spector growl with some extreme oomph on the low B string. The drummer was loving it, he could feel the bass better than ever and we were locking in like nobody's business because of it. So now I have a gigantic bass rig, it's taller than me and I'm 6'5"....lol.

Doesn't it feel great to lock in to the groove, hold the pocket with the drummer, AND be heard, lol. Good stuff!

Ooh! Nice Webster! I played one of those a couple weeks back. Really solid. And the ebony board. Wow!
