Been a little down for the count for a couple of weeks here, (more later)but nothing makes my heart happier (and hopefully your heart too) than seeing Sam with his new Forte!

Spectors Keep the Heart Healthy & Happy
Here is my first Forte Sound Clip and my first review.

I decided to go with the Black Diamond Steel strings first.
I really liked the sound of the Spector nickel strings but I cant use those because of my nickel allergy.
The bass looks feels and sounds even better then I imagined.
It feels like it is built like a tank. The word sustain has a new meaning when it comes to this instrument.
It has a such a full sound and you can really dig into it.
The neck is beefy and the back of the neck from frets 1-9 is sort of squared a bit which lets my hand fit very comfy.

Sounding GOOD! how does it feel compaired to your others? How do you like the flat finish? Looks great!

Is the neck similar to your JAR or is it beefy in a different way? Just trying to get an idea of how it is. Well, that is until I come over and try it out for myself
I love the matte finish which feels simiar the matte finish on my Euro4LX.
To explain the overall feel compared to the Euro models I would say the Euros would be like having a really nice Sports type car and the Forte would be like having a really nice Luxuray type car.
My NS-2A and the NS-2JAR may not be getting any play time over the next few days...weeks or months....
Have they ever made a spector with a bridge pickup closer to the sweet spot? (aka the musicman spot) I love that the neck pickup is in the traditional P location, but often find my bridge pickup soloed is a bit honky for my liking and have to blend in more of the neck pickup

You know the way I am, I will most likely have the Sadowskys on in it about a half hour from now
and then the Dunlops about half hour after that, just to hear the difference. LOL

Congrats on the new addition Lima, & that's a great way to describe the neck. I find the Forte neck to be more U shaped and the NS-2JA-R more C shaped. The sound clip sounds great. I love the punch from the Aggie. It totally cut through in a live situation I'm looking forward to hearing the other sets of strings too.
Awesome! She really does sound as good as she looks. Congrats. The only thing I miss about the Forte (appearance wise) are the SPECTOR inlays.
I love the Spector Inlays and at first, I felt disapointed that the Forte dosent have them.
But once I saw it in person, the Pau Ferro looks so amazing, that I actually like it without the inlays.
But I will promise to always keep a Euro with inlays in my group.

I have offically switched to the Sadowsky steels. I am thinking the Black Diamond steels may have some nickel in them as I started to get a rash after playing for an hour.
