Spector Club - Part 17

This is mainly for LimaGuy, but also wanted to share with all of you

I had a guy round at my house earlier to do some minor electronic work on a couple of my basses.

When he caught sight of my NS-2A and handled it for a minute or so, he said it's the nicest looking and feeling bass he's ever seen in person.

:)

A nice shape NS-2A is probably the greatest deal on the planet. And that particular one always felt extra good. :bassist: ;)

Oh man so I didn't realize how used to the Spector curved body I was until today practicing at home while the Spector is at the rehearsal space. Picked up my P-bass and went oh man why is this so bulky its so uncomfortable why didn't I notice this before..... Oh right the Spector!

I really wish there were curved-body spectors with pickups in different places so I could have one for everything. :D

This is so true, after I had my first Spector;
I honestly could not get comfortable playing any of my other basses.
Thus, the only solution is to own only Spectors ;) :bassist:

Yep, not a month after getting the NS20004 I'm back on my search for a reasonably priced NS-2A with original pickups/electronics.

Still wish there was a Spector bass with a pickup in the sweet spot tho.

I bought my first one : August 18th Performer DLX 4

Second one: September 24th - Red NS-2A (Sammick)

Third one: November 6th - Blue NS-2A

Its an addiction!

IIRC TBer mmbongo has a USA NS 5 XL that he special ordered with just one MM style pickup in the sweet spot.
Now that's a sweet bass.

Well it was kind of NBD today. "brownie" my road worn rebop is now "oreo" she got a nice pearl white paint job and we (my son and I) decided we liked the black hardware on it better than the gold. :). As soon as he saw it white he asked "do we really have to sell it?, ya know dad..... , that would look great on stage with my new band....." , I said "good , cuz your not playing "dougie"! :)

NBD will be Tomorrow!!!!!!! :)

Will you be venturing out tomorrow to find the UPS driver like I did? :hiding:

A ReBop with a pearl white paint job, I know I speak for the entire group when I say, would love to see photos. :hyper:

P.S. Will grendle jr. be joing the club too? :bassist:

It's so true! I've got a Fender P-Bass and an Ibanez SR405 and both are nice enough, but since my Rebop was delivered on Friday, I just can't even look their way...
