Some of the links aren't where the pictures are, or aren't there at all, like the two bolt on FM models.

And of course there's a lot of Artist spot light links that aren't working though I'm guessing that's only because they've not been constructed yet.

Also, just as a personal question for myself, what's the difference between the discontinued Rebops of 2004-2006 and the ones being produced now?

Thanks for the compliment. Honestly, the best indicator of if this site is going to be great or not for SPECTOR is you guys. If the die-hard supporters like it. Then we know the public will.

The responses about the differences in the ReBops are correct.

Cetera is correct about the Sixx "Spectorbird" That one was built body-reversed. It's in a private collection. I know the owner and that photo was provided directly to me from them. So no Photoshop magic there other than to remove the wall it was hanging on from the background and replace it carefully with black to match the website.

As a matter of fact, exept to cut these photos out of their backgrounds, there isn't very much photoshop magic on any of the historical models. Fix a glare on the body from a flash or make sure the strings are seen (so you know how many there are). But we made it a rule that we wanted to present the most accurate information possible. Which is why I asked so many people to take photos of their own guitars and submit them.

FYI, I've talked with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and many artists and many, many private collectors to get this information.

We are treating the information on this version of the site as the "Official History" Both PJ and Stuart have signed off on all of this.

It's been an incredible journey and along the way I've just become more and more enamored... I have even more admiration for those two guys then even before starting this process.

I've said it several times. These guys are the real deal. And I'm honored to work with them.

Absolutely! You see how the photos of the guitars are taken?

Full-body, camera lens is centered (I tell people to center it over the 18th fret). Shoot it on a stand or flat on the floor. Try not to angle the camera any. Flat makes the best shots.

For close ups look at any of the galleries for the guitars. Coda, NS-5XL, Euro4LX, Euro5LX, Euro6LX are all live this morning. Go to their pages and choose the Gallery link at the top of the page. You'll recognize some of the photos from one's I've posted here before.

No flash. Natural or soft light is best for gloss bodies.

Rex is such a cool guy. We'd love photos of those guitars for the site.

Will do mang! :) I have a show tomo night so they'll get all funky, but next week I will try and clean them up a bit and see if I can send you anything useful!
As awesome as the pics of Brownie are, it just doesn't do it IRL justice! Some parts on the back and neck are still more black than brown, so yeah- it's just a monster.

Thanks! I was brainstorming with PJ and we came up with this. As a fan and player of SPECTOR basses and guitars I know what sort of stuck out to me as the things that I felt made them stand apart.

It's been a great process working with PJ. He's as straight-up, honest and genuinely nice as a person can be.

He and I talked today for a while and he mentioned that now the new site is up, he's going to be joining TB.

So LOOK OUT!!!

One small comment: I had hoped to view better product photos. At very least the ability to right-click on a particular model photo and enlarge it as often done in other websites. Is it something that can be done in the future?

Actually yes... sort of.

The gallery pages that are linked at the top of each product page are going to have larger, detailed photos.

Look at the Euro5LX or Euro6LX product pages. The four icons at the top, the left one is "Photo Gallery"

Look at that photo gallery page. Those are the sorts of detail photos we're going to eventually have for every model.

It's just got to be done one model at a time. And since the USA Models are made to order... they will be the most difficult.

Obviously I'll use my own USA NS-4 for the NS-4 page when it arrives later this month...

Some might have to wait until NAMM.

If anyone has nice, clear, detailed images like what we have on in the few galleries that are online (OH!!! look at the USA NS-5XL... that was a test gallery done using photos from a dealer)

Anyway, you are all more than welcome to submit photos of your current model SPECTORS. If they are what we're looking for we'll use them and give you our "photo courtesy of" credit.

That would be helpful. Unfortunately, or fortunately, we don't have an inventory of our high-end basses. They're made and they ship out ASAP to the new owner, who has been waiting months for it.

I'm right there with you. I opted for the NS-4 because my Euro4LX is so nice and is a P/J... so I wanted the DC/DC with 18v for something different.

I personally can't wait. It's been sort of like torture to work with all of these photos of beautiful USA Spectors and know that mine is still being built.

I feel like it's Christmas and I'm 10 years old again. Like that day will never get here!!!

Woooooohooooooooo! New site is cool, im gonna have to give it a serious look through when I get the chance. Ive been waiting for a list of specs on older models. Im looking into getting one soon!
