That's a Spector Euro 5LX-EX Birdseye Poplar. EX for the the exotic wood top. It looks like the Spector Tonepump pre has been swapped out for something else.

Yeah, that's a bit high for a Q bass. About $100 less is more in line with what I think most of us would pay.

BTW, my first Spector was a Q4 Pro. Nice introduction to the brand, but I quickly got GAS for a true NS design.

For all of the resident Spector experts, what rarity would a Q4 be? I can snag one for about $370. If you have one, how do you like it?

I couldn't find an '81. I don't think anyone alive could if they didn't already have one!
