I've been playing for about 2 years and I bet your 50x better than I am lol. I don't play more than an hour a day though, cuz I can't stand the sound out of my broken Line 6.

Hey, I get my butt handed to me sometimes. ;)

Mainly by the older guys though. :p

Get a headphone amp or 1/4" adapter so you can plug headphones directly into your bass (headphones directly in only works for active)

I'm only 15, and I'm workin on getting one of those, I'm waiting for my GC check I'm getting (Line 6 broke twice, I get to keep the broken amp and I'm gettign $150 "GC" dollars)

From Personal Experience, Line 6 is amazing guitar, crap bass.

Unless we're talking their recording software and PODs, they're excellent. I have a line 6 POD Studio GX and it's just a steal. $100 for a DI box with $800 of software. It also allows you to model most of the popular amps and cabinets, so it will sound like you're playing through an SVT and 810 without having to own one. :p

But you still can't get that GK Sound. I <3 my GK :bassist:

My equipment came from money I earned working for a blind war veteran, and from selling my old junk.

I work for an old widow when she makes trips to her beach house, I take care of her house. I also move things such as furniture around for her and water her plants and such.

Though I do sell basses and other musical equipment, I had to buy it first anyhow. ;)

I'm trying to sell my modded Squier VM P and my SX Jazz (probably will end up lighting it on fire), so that all I have is my Schecter Elite 4 :hyper:

Can I have a number?

I have a Spector Legend 4 Classic in Slate Grey, and a Euro Rebop 5 DLX FM in Cherry.

I have pics to prove it.

Oh btw, I'm wanting to try get a brass bridge for the Rebop to add weight to it so it doesn't dive when playing stood up (I'm a skinny lad as those previous pics show). Does anyone know how I'd go about in making the US bridge fit as it's slightly too big for the Euro according to PJ.

Or better yet, any after market bridges worth trying to install?

I got my vintage NS-2A back from the luthier. And it's beautiful as a fretless.

Man! It's got such a nice sound and the neck with chrome flats is so smooth.

Here's some photos. The Legend in the back has been sold and is already on it's way to the new owner.

So I'm back down to three until my USA NS-4 Redwood arrives!!!

I take it USA and Euro can be told apart as USA has round headstocks? :p

I've been looking for a cheaper refinishing service, haven't found anything other than Pat Wilkins, who wants $450 + shipping to do my entire spector a quilted Amber.

Example being..

maybe I could do it that ocean-semi-trans-bluegreen and not have to buy hardware.

Or leave it red?

Which EMG pickups are in yo Spector? Oh, and when you say refinish it in quilted amberburst. Do you mean add a quilted maple top? I know it's a stupid question but I have to ask.
