Here's my NS-JH6-EX I bought at Atlanta Bass Gallery last September. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I can sometimes get a tone I like out of it and other times I can't. I'm really keeping it at this point because I haven't found anyone willing to take it off my hands.

I've been playing with it some more and interestingly enough, it's a pretty decent slapper. I found the trick is to not turn the pickups full-on and take some midrange out of the amp. The bass smooths out quite a bit and then all I have to do is add a touch of treble to get a good slap tone.

Apoligies for the crappy pic, but my better one are on another computer right now. Affirmed ReBop DLX player here: the photo is of my 2007 ReBop 5 DLX FM in Black Cherryburst. Not photographed yet are its "sister" 2007 ReBop 5 DLX FM custom Lined Fretless in Blueburst (it was the Special Order from Hell that took over double the time quoted by the seller and many phone call, so PJ took pity on me and had it sprayed Blueburst, which isn't a typical ReBop color option) and early '00 non-DLX ReBop 4 (dot inlays, no maple top) with an EMG DC/CS & BTS System that I bought used for a steal here.

Next up will be another ReBop 5 DLX strung EADGC to replace my six-string, and another 4-string in either Black Stain, Holoflash, or Zebrawood. I'd love a 4-string in white to relive the '80s, but the SO says that the NS body in white looks like a giant marshmallow. :scowl:

I've actually played a Rebop 5er that was very similar to yours, with the zebrano top and everything. Its more stunning in person than any pic will show. Quite a beauty you have there.
