Meanwhile in Classic Vibe Ville I recently installed a set of Labella 760fs on my 50’s p . These pickups work really well with the Labellas . I see no need to swap the pickups in my Indo 50’s p at all . I did enjoy the Pyramids on it but the Labellas bring the deep booty !
Dibbs!!!Mainly bought it for the neck. Will sell the body soon![]()
Don't make me go half-and-half with you!Dibbs!!!

Same here. I have 3 Squier's now, a 60's CV sunburst, a Matt Freeman in black, and a Mike Dirnt white/tort 50's ish. Along with 10 other various brand/vintage basses. I honestly don't need another one...There is a sunburst CV Precision for $400 on my local FB Marketplace.
I don't need another bass.
...but I love that color and the white pearloid pickguard. Exactly what I'd go for...Here's where I am now with my Indo CV 50s P. Couldn't spring for the custom pickguard just yet, told my wife it'd make an excellent Christmas gift.
So, I changed the knobs, got an inexpensive pearloid pickguard, and it's strung with Labella steels, BEAD.

Been wanting one of these in white for my Beach Boys tribute band. Must resist, must resist, must... You guys are killing me.if you really care about your headstock saying "china" in small font on the back - sweetwater has been selling classic vibe jazz basses in daphne blue, and p basses in Olympic white that are made in china . it's possible they're in the process of switching back to china , or just doing a random mix now. every example is now CMH serial with "china" on the back of the headstock
Squier Classic Vibe '60s Precision Bass - Olympic White
I agree with you Lobster ! They are my number one flats . They have sounded fantastic on any precision style bass I have installed them on . Just that sweet deep Labella deliciousness ! Now to leave these bad boys on this bass for a looooong time .760fs best flats, change my mind! Love those strings
Ok that’s my exact situation as well, thanks.I got a confirmation email after I ordered that it was in stock. My credit card is still showing pending on the charge. Just waiting on the shipping confirmation at this point.
I got a shipping confirmation today. Ordered Friday. For anyone else that bought the late 60s jazz bass over the weekend for the Labor Day sale… Is anyone else’s order still showing as “pending“? I paid with PayPal and my status is still pending. The notes say that they are waiting for Fender to finish processing the order. Now I’m curious as to whether or not I’m going to actually get the bass.
Where are you located? Maybe someone here can help. I helped a fellow bassist move last week, just because he was a fellow bassist!I ordered Friday, Sept 2nd and cancelled same day over the phone. Whom ever I spoke to confirmed he canceled my order.
Today I get a fedex notification it’s on a truck. I’m immobile with a neck injury and my injury is not an easy fix. It will be very tough for me to get this bass off my front porch let alone return it.
Thanks Fender, thanks alot!
Just checked, mine still says "pending" as well on an early Friday morning purchase. I have one of these and love it, it wears a black pickguard.Just bought my first new bass in 27 years. Indo CV 50's two-tone Sunburst from Sweetwater.
Just wanted that single-pup sound. It hasn't shipped yet but is scheduled to this week.
Really like that Pearloid PG @timendous. Knobs look great too.
