Squier Classic Vibe Club (Part 3)

every post i see of you is "indo cv sux cic cv best" some sort of obsession like a broken record over and over. not just this thread. any thread. especially if it mentions fender or squier i can expect to see your face pop up ready to preach/rant. even if the threads were separated like you humorously suggest, you would still post in the other thread daily your indo cv/cic cv rant

I play and setup few Indo CV bass especially 60P, 60J , 70P , including 3 CV50P I been own, sure I share the opinion about Indo CV compare to CIC CV bass. Mostly I praise on CV bass , but I never say " sxuk " to bully Indo CV bass. Look like you try make this case get worst.

I do wish a moderator would please step in and see the ONE source of the unnecessary feuding in this thread and remove the privileges of that ONE source from posting in this thread . It is rediculous . It is never ending and non stop from this person .

Been msg to moderator Mike, and accept his advice and suggestion, Mike also knew my passion on this club since 2012. I still can share my personal opinion even you agree or disagree, but with no strike back anymore.

You happy with your CV bass, i am happy with my new bought NOS CIC CV70P currently.

You've been warned by a TB Staff Member/Moderator to knock it off.
Please stop, or just do yourself and all of us a favor and go somewhere that makes you happy.

I been mention on above post, my passion on this club before you join. Anyway, thanks your suggestion.
Have a deal with Mike, i end up argument right here, but still keep sharing pro and con as usual i did from the old day. Oh, basswood never disappointed me.

About basswood on earlier CIC CV bass, someone mention basswood are easily get dent . But the poly paint on CIC CV bass are pretty thick, i recall 2mm thick when i re-drill the bridge screws hole to install Fender Vintage bridge. I believe this is the part to keep my CV bass in good shape.

Please take moderator Mike's advise and do your best to change the way you talk to the other people here. Thanks.

Same to you, don't express too aggressive on CIC basswood even you dont like it and don't call those CIC CV bass not meet the fender correct period.
Honestly, Indo CV50P has no correct period which has 2 Bakelite saddle through body bridge . Should i expose this misdirection on your post aggressively ?

The exist of CIC Squier CV line on 2008 wash out the nightmare who own QC issue on MIM std bass, i am the one. Happy post and reply here since Part 1 until that day i get warned which never happened on my since 2008 i join talkbass . I don't need someone to agree me, sharing pro and con on CV bass always my style.

I hope that this club and thread doesn't get shut down and locked. Everyone has their own preferences. We can agree to disagree without being disagreeable . There seems to be a lot of this foolishness going on Talkbass lately. Its really getting old. I refuse to participate in it.:rollno::meh:

Play what YOU LIKE and like what YOU PLAY. :bassist::hyper::p

No worry, Dude. I will pleading to moderator if this club will get shutdown. Thanks god, Mike is understanding moderator.

Stop it. All of you. IMMEDIATELY. Pay attention to the following:

Don't be a jerk.

If someone else is a jerk, don't retaliate. Report, don't quote.

If you really feel like you must defend yourself against someone, stick to facts, not feelings.

Mind your own business regarding moderation. You do not know what interactions a moderator has had with another member *unless that other member chooses to share those details with you.* A moderator will never tell you about another member's warning/infraction history, or PM content. Armchair moderation is not ok and may result in infractions given. Do not speculate, cajole, beg, insinuate, point fingers, etc.

If you cannot get along with someone, use the Ignore feature.

If you're unwilling to do that, feel free to take a break from the internet. Read a book, walk a dog, play a card game with your housemates, pull dandelions.

AND STOP POSTING ABOUT THIS KERFUFFLE.

I'm tempted to lock this thread for 24 hours to save y'all from yourselves, but now I'm cranky and will just let the imploders implode if that's what you insist on doing. But I'm here to say, the smart people will walk away for a day or so.

Note, Sir. Don't kick me out this time. I already take Mike advise and you can check my reply after i release from warned. TQ.

Is this a bad time to point out that Class D amps aren't digital?

...

Good night Talkbass :D

This is a fairly bad time to point out anything, but thanks for asking. I've taken my own advice about walking away from the computer - I dusted, and that's work well done. Next I'm going to do something else far more pleasant than this mess, which is to say I'm going to clean the bathroom. :meh:

Makes me wonder if there's new ones coming out with the way they're trying to unload these everywhere
It's possible. My take is it's both a big shopping holiday (lots of online retailers post sales on Labor Day) AND a back-to-school holiday ("Hey, <son/daughter/young relative>, here's a shiny new instrument for your burgeoning musical interests!"). Fender is usually quite picky about their sales, so a big, American holiday like Labor Day would be a good time to place one on the calendar.
CV Late 60s Jazz is 50% of from Fender.com. I could be tempted, even though I'm about to trade away a different Jazz bass.

EDIT to indicate it's the Late 60s LPB with block inlay neck on sale
I took a peek to confirm and I gotta say, it's tempting! A brand-new, bound & block neck'd CV Jazz for the price of an Affinity? Someone hide my credit card! :greedy: :nailbiting:
