Wow such a beauty! Love the OG sticker too. That's pretty cool of a shoutout to the original listing
And remember I'm from France, the seller too!
And what OG sticker? This one?

Hello guys! Yet another Squier Classic Vibe for me... Here's a bunch of photos. She is basically like new (played 10 hours), except a ding in the back of the body... beautiful rosewood, quarter-sawn maple neck. By the way @sonojono your name was mentionned in the listing!!

Damn, talk about bass porn!
yes, take care of that sticker. I predict that in the near future, the presence of that sticker in decent shape will increase the value of any CV on the resale market. Its a cool logo and it will be extremely rare. Im sure someone has come up with a good way to preserve them.
Nice! Will probably do that the next time I come across a CIC CV Bass![]()
I remember you own a CIC fiesta red P , right ?
I use to. I sold it
Yeah, but it will still look cool.THING IS: if you put the logo but the pickguard protection is gone, any guy like myself will know it's NOT the original sticker.
To those of you who are advocating for fraud and committing copyright violations, stop it. That's serious stuff and it's not tolerated here.
Recreating a decal and then putting it on an instrument to which it never belonged in order to increase that instrument's value would indeed be fraud.
Carry on.
Yes I am a bit confused about the ordeal as well. The original conversation was strictly directed towards the Squier classic vibe instruments from the fiesta red photo posted on the last page.
Still a cool idea though about the sticker to restore an instrument looking as they were back from the 1st Gen era.
Wish the post was not taken down so that I can use that link to slap a sticker on my Sonic Blue 1st Gen Precision Bass from 2008..

Well, to get back on track...
I didn't even realize there was a CV club! Can I join!?!Here's a picture of my CV '70s JB in natural finish, made in 2008. My daughter got it for me for Christmas 2019 which got me into the bass to start with. She bought it off a doctor she works with that played it for a few months and then put it away in a case in a closet and then sold it to her when he moved. Changed the strings when I got it and that's the one that got me back into playing for the first time in 20+ years. Also changed out the bridge. Love the look of this model.
