@Texican; He has a very good point. They simply do not make them like that anymore. You could get a fretless Precision neck directly from Mighty Mite for less than $200. Hell, you might even be able to move the tuners over to the Mite so you still have all the original parts.
Ultimately, though, it's your stuff, so do as you will.
Or, get a Fender Player or Squier Cv fretless J neck from stratosphere.com if available.
