Squier Classic Vibe Club (Part 3)

@Texican; He has a very good point. They simply do not make them like that anymore. You could get a fretless Precision neck directly from Mighty Mite for less than $200. Hell, you might even be able to move the tuners over to the Mite so you still have all the original parts.

Ultimately, though, it's your stuff, so do as you will.

Or, get a Fender Player or Squier Cv fretless J neck from stratosphere.com if available.

Went looking for a CV Strat but found this instead. Inca silver, one of my favorite colors and matching headstock, a long time fetish CGS14 serial#. Disappointed it doesn't play as good as it looks just yet. Serious buzz at 7th fret on A,D&G strings. It was shipped tuned down so I let it sit overnight tuned to std pitch. Slight improvement but far from playable. Fret rocker definitely says file it down and polish. Will let it acclimate over the weekend and get to work on it next week. The fingerboard has softly rolled edges, the rosewood is gorgeous and the frets are nicely dressed with no sprout. Should be a keeper for sure.

Only Pickguard not stock , but she look great compare to stock white pickguard.

Hopefully she weight less than 9lbs !

Unfortunately it's a little on the hefty side. I would guess its about 9 and a half pounds. If I were still gigging that would be a deal breaker. I'm now playing just for my own enjoyment and almost always sitting so it's not a real problem.

Highly recommend this~ Neotech Mega Strap.
Mega Bass Strap | by Neotech™

I have 3 mega straps (regular) on my 9+ lbs bass guitar, and 2 Fender 3" swell neoprene strap on bass guitar less than 9 lbs.

Neotech strap notable weight reduce and better comfort than Fender neoprene strap.
